How Long Do They Last
I asked on Instagram, and the majority of people said they usually last up to 10 days for them. There were a few people who said they only lasted a few days. But most people said that if you rough up your nails a little and dont get them wet for a few hours after putting them on, that they will last for 10-14 days.
A few of mine fell off during the 10 days I wore them, but I found it was really simple to either put on a replacement nail or glue the nail back on with nail glue.
Heres Why I Especially Love Kiss Impress Nails
- They are easy to apply in just one step and theres no nail glue needed.
- No drying time is needed like with traditional nail polish. I can just stick these on and move on to other things, which is such a time saver!
- After I am done wearing them, I can remove them without damaging my nails and theres no drill damaging my real nails like in the salon applications. My actual nails feel perfectly healthy!
- Impress Nails save me money. These are much less than a salon gel manicure which can cost up to $50-$60 dollars, and I dont need to leave the house!

Removing Kiss Press Nails By Using Warm Water
Soak nails into warm water:
As before, take a small dish full of warm water. Pour some body wash or liquid hand soap and mix it well with warm water. Soak your nails into the bowl of tolerant warm water for up to 10 minutes.
After some minutes, you will see the nails started to come off. Pull out your nails from the bowl, and try to remove the kiss press nails. If you face any trouble to remove them, apply some cuticle oil and soak them in the warm water for some extra minutes and again try to remove them.
If you want to know how to remove press on nails with nail glue, go ahead with the same procedure.
Apply moisturizer:
After washing your nails properly, wipe them with a towel, and apply some cuticle oil to remove dryness from nails. If the glue doesnt get off properly, then buff the nails with a buffer.
Caution:
- Check the warm water whether it is tolerant or not.
- Dont force to remove the nail if they are hard to come off. It can damage your natural nails.

Don’t Forget The Glue
Most press-on nail packs will come with double-sided tape. But if you want your press-on nails to last longer, use glue. “If you are worried about any nails coming off, be sure to apply the glue at the tip of your own nail and near the base of the artificial press on,” Edwards suggests.
According to the pro nail artist, glued-on nails can stay on for up to 10 days. But to ensure your fake nails hold up, she recommends to avoid soaking your hands in warm water for 24 hours immediately following the application. “Let the glue and nail settle and mold to your nails,” says Edwards.

How To Reuse Press On Nails
There’s so many reasons to wear press on nails. Including that they can be reused! Wear them, take them off and wear them again. The main way to do this is with adhesive tabs.
There’s lots of occassions when you only need dope nails for a short while. We’re thinking a crazy night out, posing on the gram, special events, photo shoots etc. Adhesive tabs are amazing for keeping your press on nails on for a shorter amount of time, and lets you wear them over and over again!
Adhesive tabs are teeny tiny, ultra sticky little strips that attach the press on nail to your natural nail. Applying your nails with adhesive tabs makes it super flexible to change your style! Switch from coffin shaped press on nails to stiletto shaped press on nails, any length, glam press on nails or goth nail design you want!
When you remove your press on nails, there will not be any dried residue on the underside of the press on nail that normally occurs with glue. Leaving you free to clean your nails, the press on nails, and freshly apply them using the adhesive tab press on nail application kit.
Reusing your press on nails
Having removed your press on nails, take a cuticle pusher, or tweezers and gently peel the tab residue from the back of the press on nail.
Always thoroughly sanatise your hands. If you wash them instead of using alcohol or hand gel, wait as long as possible before applying your press ons. This is because any moisture will mess up the sticking process.
How You Remove Press
While press-on nails are less likely to leave your nails damaged, when compared to gels or acrylics, it’s still important that you’re gentle when you take them off.
What not to do? If a fake nail has one side coming loose, don’t tear it off. “Never ever pull of a nail tip,” says Edwards. “This will surely damage the nails.”
Instead, soak your nails in an acetone-based nail solution with baby oil. Edwards swears by a mess-free kit like KISS Quick Soak Off Removal System. It includes soak-off caps and nail-shaped pads. “Just add baby oil, which helps lift product off the nail and prevents dry skin, she says”

A beauty blogger, I am not.but I have to tell you how much I love this product. I heard about it from Mallory over at ClassyClutter. She showed on her instastory a few weeks back these nails that you press on, and they stay on, do not get marked up, look amazing for a weekand then you take them off. I was intrigued mainly because I am that person who gets a gel manicure, and then HATES to go back and get it taken offso I try to do it myself, with the foil and the acetone, and waitingand I end up crying and cursing all the things after about an hour or trying to take off the gel nail polish. Can. Not. Stand the gel. So, I wanted to try these Impress Nails, they are cheap, come in a ton of colors, no harsh gel light thing, no harmful chemicals and are SOOOOOOO easy to put on and take off. Since I project a lot, and my nails are constantly getting beaten up, I thought it was at least worth a try. I shared this on a few weeks backyall were intrigued too. I will say, that I didnt find much info online about the best way to take them off. So I did put a little video together so that you can see how easy it is:) You can find these at most drug stores and Target etc.I have found the most color selection at CVS

How Do You Apply Them
The Impress Nails are very easy to apply. Just open up the box, make sure your nails are clean and dry and a little roughed up , and then peel off the backing of the nail and press it on. Kaitlynn and I applied them together and we found it worked best to hold them nail down and press around all over it for around 30 seconds.
The biggest tip people gave me over and over was to not get them wet for a few hours. They said this gives the glue time to dry. They also strongly recommended putting them on a little while before bed so that the glue had time to fully dry all night. People who said theirs stay on for 10-14 days all told me that they did this.
What Are Impress Nails

Impress nails are semi-natural looking nails that are made with resin materials, which makes them pretty flexible. Women love them since they are easy to do, maintain, as well as achieve on your own. Impress nails can stay on even if youre washing the dishes, doing your hair, or taking a shower. They are a beautiful substitute for any artificial nail option, as well as an inexpensive solution.

They Are Tough As Nails Literally
This is a photo of my manicure after a week. They were still absolutely perfect and I like to bake and do DIYs. I also have Invisalign so I have to use my nails to pop my retainers off. Im not easy on them to say the least, and if I had to be they wouldnt get a recommendation from me at all. These suckers dont even chip. The only reason I removed this set was because I wanted a different color.
How To Apply Press
Press-on nails come in kits which include either nail glue, double-sided glue gel strips, or your fake nails might already have an adhesive strip applied to them.
Each set comes with instructions explaining how to put on fake nails. It is actually quite easy.
Even if your kit comes with an adhesive, I recommend buying additional nail glue to have on hand. Below are the steps to give yourself a press-on manicure using one of these kits:

How Do You Remove Press
Be gentle when removing fake nails, meaning dont rip them off .
If you used self-stick nails, you can simply soak your fingertips in warm, soapy water for about five to 10 minutes then gently start lifting the artificial nails. For glue, however, you will likely need acetone to break it down, according to Marton. She recommends adding a drop of oil or rich cream onto your hands to regain moisture immediately after using acetone.
Again, these nails were not designed to last long, so they should come off fairly easy just be gentle in your process, Marton said.

They Are Easy To Pop Off Sans Smelly Removers
Speaking of removal, this was the part I was afraid of. It was so easy though. The set comes with a little stick you slide under the nail to remove them. I start at one side, gently go around the bottom of my nail, and go up the other side until it pops off. Be sure not to yank them off, the stick will gently pry the glue and nail away from your original nail.
Its so much better than breathing nail polish remover.

Impress Nails Review 2020
I never thought Id be a person who could even use fake nails. My nails are short and brittle no matter how much collagen I use, how many vitamins I take or even strengthening nail polish, they just cant get long.
Regular nail polish just doesnt cut it for me and I have tried and failed HARD to do my own gel manicure at home with at-home gel polish. I was going to a salon for a while to get gel nails applied professionally, but that was $65-70 a visit here in San Francisco, so I stopped.
Enter:imPRESS press nails that are supposedly easy to apply and come in hot at a super affordable price of around $10 a pack. Their nail collection is HUGE and rumors have it that these nails last a really long time.
I tried out the Lavish Couture set, filmed the process of applying them and then sat down to write this imPRESS nails review post one week later to see if theyve held up.
