The Chanel fall 2021 nail polish collection has arrived! This season, Chanel has created four autumn hues which are right on trend for the fall season they are dark, yet unexpected versions of otherwise classic nail polish shades. Wow!
There are two nail polish colors from the red family a dark red named Terre Brulee and a deep burgundy named Rouge Brun. As the name suggests, Rouge Brun has brown undertones. Its a fabulous color!
If you are more of a putty or neutral nail polish fan, then there are two hues for you! Chanel is offering Brun Fume, which is a grey-ish dark brown, and Beige Cendre which is a light beige-grey. In my opinion, this is a great color to wear now as we transition from summer into fall. I am wearing Chanel Beige Cendre as I type this!
I tested out all four nail polish colors from Chanel with one base coat, and two coats of color. They are all cream polishes, and thankfully, all four colors go on smoothly without streaking. Love that!

Would I Buy Another Chanel Nail Polish For $27
Why not? If I want another Chanel nail polish and I have the $27 to afford it, then yes, I would buy another Chanel nail polish.
I thought I would feel like an idiot once I used the nail polish for the first time. I would realize that I was stupid to have paid what amounts to $30 for a Chanel nail polish when I could have gotten another brand of equal or even better quality for less. But I dont feel the outrage and self disgust I thought I would feel. Whats the big deal after all? Its not as if I spent $100 on the nail polish. Now that would have been arguably irresponsible and insane. For $100 a nail polish had better do something pretty damn amazing and life changing. For $27 its okay that all it does is it makes my fingernails shinier and glossier than my cheaper nail polishes.
So yes, I would and probably will buy another Chanel nail polish. I cant see any reason not to have a few nicer nail polishes to choose from on those days when I bother to paint my nails.

For the holiday 2021 season, Chanel has created a beauty collection themed around the iconic Chanel No. 5 fragrance collection. As part of the collection, there are EDT and EDP offerings. I chose the EDP as I prefer a slightly stronger, and longer lasting, fragrance experience.
The Chanel No 5 holiday bottle comes in a bottle shaped box with an elastic emblem at the top. This is a beautiful way to store the bottle, especially if you store your fragrances in an area with light.
Pro tip: always store fragrances in a dark, dry area to preserve them, and allow them, to last for years. This means keeping them out of the bathroom. I keep mine in a hall closet away from the bathrooms.

Heres how I figure it. As long as I pay it off in a timely fashion, it will be good for me to purchase something on credit maybe once per month or every two months. It will help to bring up my credit score. And Im going to need a high credit score once I get to the point of being able to try to buy a house. So thats my defense against the accusation that I was irresponsible to put myself $215 in debt to Nordstrom buying things I do not really need.

I had bought Chanel Pirate Nail Polish when it was first released years ago. Unfortunately, I gave it away because I wasnt much into reds back then. It was a good thing that it had been repromoted as part of the Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss Collection. So, I was able to buy another bottle of Chanel Pirate Nail Polish to keep for myself.
Chanel describes Le Vernis:
Classic and trend-defining shades in an exclusive formula that strengthens and moisturizes nails as it delivers high-shine colour. Applies evenly without streaking.
All Chanel nail products are formaldehyde-free, toluene-free and DBP-free.
CHANEL PIRATE NAIL POLISH 08 Le Vernis Nail Colour
Chanel Pirate Nail Polish is classified as a true red. Looking at its color in the bottle, it seems to be similar to Chanel Tentation Nail Polish but without the shimmers. As you may already know, I am always attracted to shimmery nail polishes and shimmers is often one of my deciding factors when choosing a nail polish. Chanel Pirate nail polish has no shimmers but I love the pinkish magenta tinge it has.
With just one coat , the color is much similar to Chanel Tentation nail polish. 2 coats of Chanel Pirate Nail Polish makes it more like a true red and 3 coats make it vampy dark red. I prefer the resulting color made with just 2 coats, so next time Ill probably apply 2 coats only.
What Is Chanel Best Known For

Theres no denying the Chanel Jade Collection colors cost quite a bit for polish, but I think theyre a nice way for the everyday gal to have a relatively affordable Chanel fashionista moment without having to spend major moolah.

I Have Used My Chanel Nail Polish So I Guess Im Now Officially A Fool
I spent $27 on a bottle of #nailpolish I didnt need
But Im not going to beat myself up. To be completely honest, I dont really feel like Ive done anything necessarily foolish. Do I think the nail polish is so super spectacularly amazing that it makes sense it costs $27? Nonot really but it is a nice nail polish. Have I used cheaper nail polish that looked just as good? I dont know that I can say just as good but certainly decent enough by comparison that if I was trying to be frugal in my spending decisions, it would make more sense to buy the cheaper nail polish than to spend the $27 on a Chanel nail polish.
However, if it wasnt critical that I save $20, I would certainly opt for the Chanel nail polish over the $7 nail polish. And this is coming from someone who previously would have considered $7 to be a bit much to spend on a nail polish.
The Chanel nail polish is obviously better than my usual cheap nail polishes. So if I could afford to buy the better nail polish why would I choose to buy the not better but good enough for the job just because I was of the opinion that the better nail polish was overpriced? Why buy the adequate product just to stand on principle against the significantly higher price of the better product?

Normally I gravitate towards sheer lipsticks, but this cream lipstick from Chanel for the holiday season was too pretty to pass up. The Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick for the holiday 2021 season includes five colors. I picked up Chanel Rouge Brulant which is a pinkish red hue. I love how it compliments the Chanel nail polish holidays 2021 hue. Chanel Rouge Brulant offers more pink than Chanel Rouge Intemporel nail polish, and I feel like its the right mix of pink and red for a festive holiday season.
