Lamisil tablets contain 250 mg terbinafine per tablet.

Seek medical treatment if you have a serious drug reaction that can affect many parts of your body. Symptoms may include: skin rash, fever, swollen glands, flu-like symptoms, muscle aches, severe weakness, unusual bruising, or yellowing of your skin or eyes. The British Association of Dermatologists suggests either terbinafine or itraconazole as first options for the treatment of fungal nail infection in both adults and children. However, they say that unless there are contraindications terbinafine is preferred based on its higher efficacy and tolerability.
Griseofulvin has lower efficacy, higher relapse rates and more side effects than terbinafine or itraconazole but remains an option if these drugs are ineffective or not tolerated.

What Is Terbinafine
Terbinafine is an antifungal medication that fights infections caused by fungus.
Terbinafine tablets are used to treat infections caused by fungus that affect the fingernails or toenails.
Terbinafine oral granules are used to treat a fungal infection of scalp hair follicles in children who are at least 4 years old.

How To Take Lamisil
Use Lamisil exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.

Do not take Lamisil if you have ever had an allergic reaction to:

- Any other medicines, foods, preservatives or dyes.
Your doctor will want to know if you are prone to allergies.
Some of the symptoms of an allergic reaction may include:
