What they are:
Dashing Diva Gloss Ultra Shine Nails Strips that are made from gel polish. They dont require any drying time or soaking to remove them.
What they cost:
Between $7-$8, depending on where you get them. Ive been buying them at Target and Ulta Beauty.
What you get:
Each set comes with 34 nail strips, 22 of the base color and three accent colors with four nails each. You also receive a nail file and instructions. There are a lot of different designs and colors to choose from.
Do they work?:
Yes! On my first application I didnt follow the instructions properly and didnt use an alcohol wipe to clean my nails prior to applying. This was an important step! While the nails still went on, the finish wasnt great and I wasnt all that impressed with them.
But my mother loved them and told me she had followed the instructions and apparently that made the difference. 🙂 Make sure you get your nails really clean and dont use any lotions on your hands for a few hours before or after you apply them.
I tried them again with proper prep and it made a huge difference. The last set I put on lasted two weeks with very little chipping/buckling and I actually left them on for close to three weeks before removing them.
Thats pretty much my Dashing Diva gloss review! Id definitely buy them again and think theyre worth the money.

It definitely seemed easier to do the Color Street than the Dashing Diva, she told KPRC 2 consumer expert Amy Davis. She said the Color Street brand seemed to stick better. When I Dont Use Them:
These arent a 1-second manicure. Though I would consider doing them in an Uber because they dont smell like anything and there isnt a dry time, they still take about 15-20 minutes to do well and arent quite as fool-proof as the Magic Press . I like to apply these when Im relaxing before bed because they look amazing after Ive slept in them. I also prefer to use their other products if my nails are peeling so I dont risk additional damage.

Has Anyone Used Dashing Diva Nail Guards
I havent personally used it, but I follow a dip FB group. And someone posted about their experience. It lasted 15 days on their nails. The person elected to remove them at that point with the help of cuticle oil. As far as I can remember, none popped off prior the removal.
I use these. They are pretty good at preventing damage to the nail and will last 1-2 weeks. You do need to prep the nail so they stay sticky and I wouldnt just pull it off. I actually just wait for most of my nails to pop off, then soak the last few in acetone, but it is way faster than doing all of them.

Dashing Diva Nail Strips Review
Now that we have seen an application tutorial and removal, it is time for my Dashing Diva nail strips review. First and foremost, the application process is exactly the same as any nail polish strips I have ever used.
Sadly, some air bubbles are unavoidable, no matter how much smoothing I do. Those areas end up not sticking at all. I also suffered several broken nails while wearing these strips, as they do not provide as much strength and protection as traditional nail lacquer.
I would have given these the green light if they do not wear out on the tips after seven days. Ultimately, these are not better than any other nail polish strips. I am somewhat saddened that I bought many packages of these on a whim.
Pros Of Dashing Diva Nail Strips
When I first tried out Dashing Diva gel strips, I had a bunch of house work I needed to get done. I figured they’d for sure peel off while I pulled weeds, painted, and went through the girls clothes. Oddly enough, they didn’t budge! Since then, I’ve worn them while on a trip to Palm Springs, to the beach and the pool. They held up great! I have gnarly nails. They are always peeling and chipping and I keep them really short so I can play piano without the click clacking of long nails.

What Tools Do You Need
The kit comes with 30 nails, a mini file, a prep wipe pad, and a cuticle pusher. I suggest having your own acetone and cuticle remover so you can really make sure your nails are ready.
I used my own nail file. Theirs is cute but not very realistic if you want to shape your nails. I used a rough one for shaping and a crystal one for smoothing out the edges.
