Step 6: Use the paper towels to wipe off the remaining powder polish. If there is any residual powder left, you can remove it with your nail file.

I like to soak of my nails. I take a plastic sandwich bag and put a paper towel in it about 1/8 of a cup of acetone. get a bowl of hot water as hot as you can stand it not hot enough to burn your self. put your hands in the baggies soak them in the hot water and rub them on the paper towel while soaking it takes them off in about 5 minutes longer if you have glitter on. when I saw this on YouTube I couldnt believe it so I timed it. It took not quite 4 minutes to get the dip off . best method ever.
Your Dip Nails Should Be At Least 3 Weeks Old:
Your new set of dip nails has fresh adhesive bonds to your natural nails so they are still very strong. Trying to peel these new dip nails off will result in peeling your own nails also and you will ruin their lengths and shapes that you want to keep in the first place.
Only when these dip powder nails are at least three weeks old, these adhesive bonds are weakened as they are undergoing stress and strain during the normal use of the hands and fingers.

While there are many acetone-based polish removers on the market, you should understand that many dont contain acetone in its purest form. There are other additives brought into the solution, many with nail-strengthening properties. You can find nail polish removers that have a very low acetone content or are free of acetone altogether.

Step 3: Apply cotton and foil.
Working on one nail at a time, lay a two-by-two-inch square of foil under your finger. Saturate a cotton ball with your acetone remover and place it on top of your nail. Tightly wrap the foil around the cotton ball, and repeat on each nail.
